In this fashion class, you might expect to see only the garments under construction, the fabrics and the sketches. But my eyes were drawn to the seemingly useless, the secondary, the almost invisible. A chair moved, papers abandoned, a broken object left in a corner.
This series of photos doesn't show fashion in its ideal image, but what lies behind it: the details of everyday life, the leftovers, the mess. It's these elements, often ignored, that interest me. They say something about the real atmosphere of a classroom, far from the perfect images.
By highlighting the useless, I'm showing another way of looking at this space: not just as a place for creation, but as a place where traces, oversights and little things that end up being important also accumulate.
